In regards to the "Gas Exploration Deed Restriction misinformation campaign", the information dissseminated prior to the election was not misinformation. It was sourced and quoted directly from Realty Capital Management as stated to the local media source (I can contact them if you would like). The miscommunication was between the ownership and the master developer. I would hope that futher communication between the two parties on a development of this scale would be better planned and communicated to the public, especially on an issue of this much importance to the community. (i.e. ~74% voted the gas drilling charter amendment in). With better communication, the whole event could have been avoided and I hope future communication will be more timely and well planned. I do appreciate the clarification and look forward to further communications on the project.

I must wonder why some politicians, seeing evidence of the wave of support for this well thought out development, feel so threatened that they instruct their surrogates to lash out with mis-leading accusations and spurious criticism of professionals who have survived tough times with dignity, and are simply trying to create a quality product that should be neutral politically.

Jimmy, Brian, and Richard: Three access points to the Northshore Trail is two to many from your planned development. Brian had asked us for feedback on this and our point has always been to provide ONE Trail Head as a gathering spot for all trail users. This one Trail Head would include all the approved concept plans to have restrooms, showers, bike racks, water fountains, 100 parking spots, etc. Richard had made the comment at a Flower Mound workshop recently that "Northshore Trail is pretty intense" and he is right. Multiple trail heads/access points is not a good idea as you then populate the trail with folks that just happen to wander into a challenging trail where bikes, dogs, and "wanders" spell injury. Knowing that the majority of trail users are mountainbikers who use Rockledge and Heritage Park as current access points, getting these riders into your property should be your key objective. Mine is to provide and maintain a safe trail. If you are going to ask us for our two cents and then treat our suggestions as just that, please go ahead with whatever you feel is best for your development. You are also treading a very thin line with your "access to the lake" marketing scheme which I know the US ACOE has also noticed. Provide one gathering spot to access Northshore Trail. -Peter Timmerman

With the outlet stores south of us & the chain stores north of us, I'd really like to see unique, boutique, or specialty stores that support quality small businesses & draw customers from all around north DFW.
